Former Russian leader
Dmitry Medvedev has responded to UK Defense Secretary Grant Shapps' comments about potential UK military
training and production in Ukraine. Medvedev warns that if British trainers are
inside Ukraine, they will be seen as legal targets for Russian armed forces. He
also criticizes the head of the German defense committee for suggesting Ukraine
should use long-range missiles against Russian targets, saying that such
attacks on German factories where the missiles are made would be consistent
with international law. Medvedev accuses NATO countries of actively pushing the
world towards a third world war.
